So I really don't have anything important to blog about but I was sick of seeing Tom Hanks so I just thought I'd post something, anything, to get him off.
The last few weeks have been busy. Cleaning, laundry, mom duties...you know, the usual. I still marvel at how busy I feel and how I have so little to show for it. Its crazy.
TJ's foot is doing well. He's been walking on it since Monday, even though by the end of the day he uses his crutches cause its sore and tired. He goes back to the Podiatrist a week from Friday.
Since last Friday morning my mom has been here organizing her new house. For those of you who don't know my parents bought a house here to live in after my dad retires. That won't be for a few years but they are here a lot so it'll also serve as a place to stay when they come. Not that we mind having them stay here. So its been fun furniture shopping and getting things organized in her house. It'll be nice to have them close!
The kids are doing well. Jackson is having a blast with Basketball and has really improved since the fall. He's on a third grade team playing in a fourth grade league so that can be pretty demoralizing but we keep telling him that next year his team will be AWESOME because they have a season's worth of experience over the other teams.
Natalie is embarking on a new adventure that we are both so excited about. She is starting Violin lessons! I LOVE the violin so I hope she enjoys the lessons. She was supposed to have her first lesson yesterday but there was a mix up with her teacher so she'll start next week. She was very disappointed but is ready and waiting for next Wed!
Brady is Brady. He's just enjoying pre-school and is being as cute as ever. The other day my mom and I were gone ALL DAY and on our way home we picked up Panda Express for dinner. That night when I was putting Brady to bed we had the following conversation.
B: Mommy you were gone ALL DAY!
J: I know buddy. Sorry about being gone for so long. I missed you!
B: I missed you too Mommy. What took so long at Panda?
So funny! I love when you get those little glimpses into the way your kids' brains work. Poor Brady though we had been at Panda Express ALL DAY LONG! Hahahaha! Cute.
So that's it. Off I go to Parent Teacher Conferences! Hope you enjoyed the update!

How exciting that your mom and dad will eventually be so close!
I love the violin too...it should be fun listening to her practice for the first little while...:)
Violin huh? Ambitious. I love Brady's comments. They're awesome!
Oh the fun we have as mommies! Brady cracks me up, Natalie is gonna rock on that violin, I can already see the look of concentration that will be on her face as she plays along, and that Beans is gonna be an unstoppable ball player. That height and those long arms and legs. No one will be able to stop him. Glad Teej's foot is getting better and totally jealous that you have been (almost) literally living at RC Willey. I need me some RC Willey. It's been way too long since I set foot in that place! From the amount of time you and Mom have spent there over the past week, it sounds like I won't need to go to the store, I'll just need to go into mom's house and I'll feel like I'm there! :-) And to my little Reecy Roo, Auntie Mi Mi loves you and knows how cute you are even though your momma didn't update about you this time! Miss and Love you all!!
Sounds like you've been busy as usual. How nice for you that your mom and dad will be close.
