Its been really super hot here this past week but last week, when my mom was still here and before it got blazin' hot and humid we took the kids to the park to get them out of the house. We had a great time and even Reecey enjoyed being outside.
I love the look on Natalie's face in this picture
Brady loves to dig in the sand. A big difference from last summer when he wouldn't even touch sand.
The other exciting thing is that Jackson started football. Last year he played flag but this year he's in full pads with full contact. So far he's had a week of conditioning and then a week of player evaluations. We were very proud of him because he worked super super hard and had a really great time! He almost even made the final group to be considered for the travel team, but thankfully he wasn't chosen for that. This post-partum mama couldn't handle that at this point! Anyways, its great seeing him having such a wonderful time and actually being enthusiastic about playing. Its a huge difference from his attitude in baseball this past spring!
Striking a football pose
Just saying cheese!
tapping in to his inner rage!
What a cute kid!
Last, but certainly not least is an update on princess Reecey! Now that she's feeling more comfortable in the world she has decided that she can behave like a princess. At first she just fussed when she was hungry and when she was sleepy. Then she added fussing in the evenings to her repetoire. After a few days of that she started fussing in the mornings when we were all trying to get ready for the day. Now she pretty much fusses the second she is put down. In fact the last couple of days I've been worrying that she, by nature, is a fussy, cranky little girl who will never be content. I don't know if that's an irrational fear but it seems that she's only ever content when she's being held. I know that it could be worse because she sleeps pretty well and she's almost always consolable, but it does get difficult to get things done when you have to hold a baby every moment she's awake! I'm trying my very very best to enjoy every minute with her since she is our last and I know how fast time flies! Before I know it she'll be a 5 year old who's starting Kindergarten!

I think this picture is hilarious. It was like she was telling us to shut up!
I put this picture in to prove that she's getting bigger. Notice the double chin!
This one is cute because you can totally see her little chicken leg!
I can't believe how big her eyes are...especially on her tiny little face. She'll for sure need to grow into her eyes.

Sleepy girl. Her little hand sticking out was so cute!
