Every year at the kids school the 3rd grade classes perform a Christmas play. Usually its A Christmas Carol but this year they mixed it up a bit and did The Night Before Christmas.
They started working on it back in November and Natalie auditioned for a speaking part! She got the role of Dancer the Reindeer and she did awesome! She had her lines memorized in about a day and had so much fun practicing them for me and telling me all about the days' rehearsals. She's quite the performer and informed me that she's interested in being in more plays. Now if only I could get her to sing in front of people again!
This is Dancer pulling some major attitude and telling Rosie the Reindeer that Dancer and her reindeer friends are Santa's favorites!
This is Natalie's bestie, Maddy, singing! She did so so so good and was so brave to sing a solo in front of so many people!

So cute! It doesn't surprise me at all that she is interested in "the theater!" since here mama was such a good little actress in her day! :-)-actually, probably still is but when was the last time you were in a play or musical! :-)
she's so tall!! too bad we don't live closer and mari was her bestie - i think they'd have a blast.
She was so cute in that play with the little hair flip and everything!
