One of these days I'm going to count how many times Brady says "mama" in 1 day. For those of you have been around him, you know exactly what I'm talking about. For those of you who aren't around him, here's an example...
"Mama, can you get me a drink?"
"Mama, is it time for Reecey to go to bed?"
"Well Mama, I have a favor for you. Could you put 2 of these arms on?"
(he just said those last 2 sentences. and the arms he's referring to are lego arms.)
"Mama, can I go to the bathroom?" (still can't figure out why he asks to go to the bathroom)
"Mama, can I get a snack?"
"Mama, I love you."
"Mama, when is Jackson and Nanalie getting home?" (he still calls Natalie Nanalie, and I think its adorable!)
"Mama, did dad glue the lego Qui-Gon's head on?" (another live sentence.)
"Well Mama, does the head come off?" (another live sentence)
You get the idea right? oh wait...here comes another one..."Mama, on lego starwars Qui-Gon has brown lego legs. So Mama? Remember that this light saber handle was Maxwell's but he let me keep it. So Mama, maybe Maxwell will let me borrow Qui-Gon's brown legs." (you think I'm kidding about this and I'm not! This is actually what he just said to me!)
Anyways, he is so darn cute and I love him so darn much! Even though sometimes I hate the sound of my name by the end of the day!

I feel you. Tater does the same thing all day! And sometimes it does get old, but I sure am glad I have his cute little mug to say Mama to me all day, even though somedays I could really go for some ear plugs. And how is that for a run-on sentence! THE END!
I feel you too- we've actually been in the car before and the kids keep calling for me and I don't answer- Ryan will usually answer at that point and say mom is done for a while you may ask me...
So cute! But yes, very tiring. I expeiriance that very thing at school... "Miss McKenna... look" "Miss McKenna, Miss McKenna..." Then times that by about 14 children.
Yikes!
I love that Eliza Jane still calls me Mama- and Maddy does too sometimes...it makes me believe they're still tiny and I am always sad the day they revert to "Mom" (hee hee- Eliza just came in and is cuddling on my lap and said, "Hi Mama" I love it!!!
Brady is just such a cutie! But I totally feel you dawg! Somedays I feel like I will scream if I hear mama one more time.
Love it....and by the way...some of those are sounding quite familiar!! lol Except it starts with "Aaaammmyyy?"
Enjoy it! One day your kids won't call you "Mama" anymore and you'll be sad! Logan is my only one who still calls me "Mama" and I LOVE it!!!! It does get annoying after about a billion times of hearing it time after time, BUT, one day it will stop and be "Mom" or HEY YOU!!! and then I'll long for the "Mama" days to be back! And for the record: I LOVE THAT KID OF YOURS!!!!!!
I very much identify with your post i don't know how many times i hear Mom....all day long. I think to myself there is no other word i would rather hear even if it gets annoying after a while.
So adorable. Just remember he will grow out of that someday. What a cutie!
