100 Things about my Mother in Law

So my mother in law was telling me how much she enjoyed my 100 things post and told me that she doesn't think she could come up with 100 things about herself.  I told her I would do it for her so here goes...100 things about LouAnne Brinkerhoff...my mother in law! (with help from Lindsay, her daughter)  ps.  this list has been approved by LouAnne!

1.  My 2 older kids call her Grandma

2.  Brady and Madison call her LouLou 

3.  Reecey and Brooklyn and the rest of her Grandkids will probably call her LouLou too.

4.  All of her kids call her LouLou or mom.

5.  Josh starts calling her Grandma when we're all together.

6.  Josh is her son who is 9.  (yes, my m.i.l. has a 9 year old)

7.  She also has a 14 year old.

8.  She also has a 32, 29, 26, and 24 year old

9.  She has 7 Grandkids.  4 girls and 3 boys

10.  When I had Reecey she suprised me and came to Illinois to be there for her birth.  She dressed up (pictured above) to try to trick me when she came in my room.

11.  She was born and raised in Denver Colorado

12.  She currently lives in Denver

13.  She has also lived in Utah and Arizona

14.  She sells jewelry

15.  She sells Scentsy

16.  She LOVES Hawaii (can't say that I blame her)

17.  When she went to Hawaii in December it rained the whole time

18.  Her room flooded because of the rain

19.  She likes to stick things her nose

20.  Her favorite thing is #1 combo at Wendy's

21.  On time when she was at the drive through at Wendy's she payed for her food and then forgot to pick it up at the next window

22.  She ALWAYS spills on herself

23.  She hates herself when she spills on herself

24.  She loves "Rey House"

25.  She loves Dr. Pepper

26.  She used to torture the neighbor kids when she was a little girl

27.  She one time got her older brother grounded so he couldn't go to a Beatles concert (we try not to bring that up too often.  Its still a pretty sensitive subject)

28.  She loves her sisters.

29.  She loves her kids

30.  She loves her hubby

31.  She loves her grandkids

32.  She loves her mother, but doesn't always like her.

33.  She loves her Dad and misses him terribly!

34.  Her last 3 callings have been R.S. Pres (right now) Primary Pres and Stake YW Pres.

35.  Oh, yeah, she also loves her brothers

36.  One time she peed her pants at TJ's football game (in all fairness she was 8 months pregnant)

37.  She went to BYU for a year

38.  She took french but can't speak a word of it

39.  She met Torrey at BYU

40.  They dated briefly and then she told him he was smothering her

41.  She called him the next day bawling her fool head off

42.  They've been married for 34 years this September

43.  She falls asleep during every movie she watches at home.  She's pretty good in the theater though.

44.  She went to JFK High School, but according to Hollywood so did everyone else in the U.S.

45.  She was there for 6 out of 7 births of her Grandkids.

46.  She's a total cry baby.  It doesn't take a lot to get her to cry

47.  She keeps a very level head when one of her kid's get injured...Torrey on the other hand...

48.  She loves the Denver Broncos

49.  She loves her some Honeymoon in Vegas (if she can stay awake through it)

50.  She also loves Funny Girl with Barbara

51.  She loves going to Broadway plays

52.  She loves Clay Aiken, but not so much his new CD

53.  Her slushie and Carmelitas at Christmas are 2 of my favorite things.

54.  She loves Barry Manilow

55.  One Christmas she bought Torrey a TERRIBLE Neil Diamond CD.  She actually bought it for herself but gave it Torrey.

56.  She's been to at least 2 Neil Diamond concerts

57.  She wanted to be a cheerleader in High School but didn't make the squad!

58.  Vacationing is one of her favorite things.

59.  She is scary when you're dating her children.

60.  She is a crazy sleeper.  She always pops up like a crazy woman and also tickles her own arm, which she has passed down to TJ, Lindsay and Taylor.

61.  One time she was in Maryland visiting her brother she took an Ambien and called Torrey at 12:30 but didn't remember it the next day because her phone was on the charger and shut off in the morning, just like she had left it the night before.

62.  She messes up the names of places like Hank did   eg.  "Let's go to Bed Bath and Body Works"

63.  She tries to stay young and hip by staying stylish but she is still age appropriate in what she wears.

64.  She loves MAC makeup

65.  She's addicted to Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives.

66.  She wanted David Archuleta to win American Idol

67.  Her dream is to have to all her children live in Denver close to her.  

68.  She's always willing to watch her Grandkids, even if she has to travel far to do it.

69.  She has the entire Willow Tree nativity and it makes me sooooooooooo jealous!

70.  She loves her house to stink pretty, hence the Scentsy

71.   She came to help me when Jackson was born even though her kid was 7 months old.

72.  She went home from that trip EXHAUSTED!

73.  Another dream of hers is to redo her backyard and make it a happy, peaceful sanctuary

74.  She loves being pampered.

75.  Her toenail polish was periwinkle at my wedding.  It matched her dress

76.   She lived with Lindsay for 4 weeks when Lindsay had radiation to help with Madsion

77.  All of her babies came early.  TJ was 4 weeks, Ali was 2 weeks, Lindsay was 2, Matt was 3, Taylor was 6 and Josh was 2.

78.  She had to be on bed rest for 4 months when she was pregnant with Josh.

79.  She had her appendix out when she was pregnant with Josh.

80.  She LOVES Ed McCaffery

81.  She met him last year at a basketball game.

82.  She is friends with the mascot for the Denver Nuggets.

83.  She always gives Colton crap

84.  In 1 year Colton isn't gonna be her favorite son-in-law anymore

85.  She does tons of odd jobs

86.  She's worked for realtors for 30 years.

87.  She watches Days of Our Lives almost every day

88.  She cried for at least 2 hours after Natalie was born cause it had been so long since a baby girl was in the family.  (20 years)

89.  Natalie looks just like her

90.  2 of her grandbabies are named after her.  Madison Anne and Reece Annelynn

91.  She loves chick lunch with John there

92.  She almost ran a half marathon to be like her dad but almost just means she thought about it.

93.  She recently discovered facial waxing.

94.  Her favorite sweet treat is gummy orange slices

95.  She also LOVES buttercream mints

96.  She would wear schlep 24/7 if she could

98.  Colton says she's the hottest mother in law in town.

99.  She hopes that whatever kingdom she ends up in John, TJ, Steve Empey and Colton are there with her to make her laugh.

100.  She's the best mom, mom in law and grandma EVER!!!
