On July 17, Reecey turned 4 years old. It is CRAZY that my baby is already 4. I remember those first difficult months when I thought that she'd be a tiny, screaming, dependent baby forever! Then she turned into a chubby, happy, fun, delightful little 6 month old and I wanted to bottle her up and keep her like that forever! Now, in the blink of an eye she's 4! I'm just grateful that I made a conscious effort to try and remember to treasure every moment I could with her over the past 4 years! Happy Birthday baby girl!!!!!
Since we were in Canada for her actual birthday we had a fun family celebration!
Then when we got back home we had a big fun friend party! So I'm not one to absolutely LOVE throwing birthday parties for my kids but I was trying to be better this time around and follow Lindsay's example of being completely organized and prepared ahead of time! I had purchased the party supplies here and there in the months and weeks leading up to Reecey's birthday party and we had the cake planned for about as long, so it really wasn't a stress or a financial irritation!
Her theme was Tangled and oh boy did we have fun with that! We had a great cake with miniature Tangled figures on it (thanks Matt and Erin for getting those), the girls made Rapunzel crowns, colored a Flynn Ryder picture, hit a pinata and even went home with 3D paper Pascal's!
It was a huge success and I think Reecey enjoyed the first 'friend' party of her life!
Lindsay decorating the cake! I couldn't have done the cake (or the tower for that matter) without her! Thanks Twee!
Cute cousins! Madison was there to help and Brookie came as a guest!
The cake. It was brilliant! The tower was made from Rice Krispi treats and fondant! It was a bit tricky but Lindsay figured out the tower, no problem!
Ready for cake. The look on her face is hilarious!
I love this one too!
All the party guests. From the left there's Simone, Ani, Reece, Brookie, Abby, Oakley, Braelyn, and Addy.

OMG! That look on her face when she is hitting the pinata is freakin' hilarious! And that cake was quite the undertaking! It was a little tricky but turned out great! All those little girls were adorable, love that Reecey Roo!
