Inside Out

A few short notes...

-I wasn't home this morning when my kids left for school. TJ got them ready and off for the 9th last day of school (yay!). When Brady arrived home and took off his coat his shirt was inside out! Of course it was. The first question my mind asked itself was why wouldn't his father or his teacher help him change his shirt to the right-side-in? Then my mind answered itself...because its Brady. He's just the kids who can pull off the messy hair, the one sock at karate and the inside out shirt. Good gracious I love that kid!!!!!! He just makes me happy!

-On Saturday Reece announced she needed to go potty. Thinking this was another one of her games I was reluctant to take her. But when I did, she pee'd. So I put panties on her and about 20 minutes later I took her to the potty and she pee'd again. That about an hour later, something amazing happened...she actually TOLD me she need to go potty! I've always said that as soon as she decides she wanted to be potty trained it would happen, and it did! We are going on day 4 with only 2 accidents, of the #1 variety...thank goodness! She's another kid that I love. So so so dang cute!!!!!!!

-JB and Natalie both performed talents for their classes this past week. JB did a couple of magic tricks and Natalie sang "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift. Both were voted through to perform in front of their entire grade! Jack's was today and he did great, and Natalie performs on Thursday. Next their grades will vote for the best talents and put them through to the entire school talent show! If Natalie gets put through she gets an ipod touch from her dad. If JB gets put through, I don't know. A magic trick isn't nearly as scary to perform as singing a song. Maybe I'll take him out for ice cream or something! Either way, I'm so proud of both of them for being so brave! I love them too!!!!!

-School is out next week. That's weird considering its still FREEZING outside! Seriously people...the weather here sucks. Hopefully this will be the LAST week in the 60's and then we can move on to nice SUMMER weather.

-Speaking of the weather our Youth Conference is this weekend and boy oh boy do we need a weather miracle. Its supposed to be in the 50's and raining in the valley but we'll be in the mountains so drop it 10 degrees and turn the rain to snow and that's pretty much what we can expect. I figure since we were blessed with the Water World Miracle last summer, we'll be blessed with a Youth Conference miracle this summer! If you feel so inclined to pray for good weather for us this weekend that would be GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

If I was Brady's teacher he wouldn't have come home with an inside out t-shirt!! Even though he is the kind of kid who can get away with it! Funny boy!!

Brady is just Brady! Love that kid! Glad to hear the potty training is going so well, yea for Reece! I can't believe the bravery of Jackson and Natalie. I hate, hate, hate being in front of people! Congrats to both of them for being so awesome!
